Well this story is being written after a month though, it is about my trip to pune. It was diwali of 2009.I wasnt going to home so I thought Insted of getting bored here, I shud rather visita frnd "tyson sir"in pune who was calling me since a time.
So just a day before leaving I booked a train ticket, which was showing 100's in waiting. So the chances of getting a reserved seat were grim. I rerached nampalli station just minutes before the train was to leave station. Voila! got an RAC. phew!! atleast I'll get a seat 2 sit , I took a sigh of relief. As the train was late so I had to wait for sometime.
Then in train it was a pretty uncomfortable situation for both me and the co-passenger who was sharing his seat with me as we both were not able to sleep. He finally broke the ice and slept on the floor. voila!!! I had a complete berth for me. As my legs cudnt fit, I still was not able to sleep properly. Well in the night,I knew, Mom wud call me(she calls every night). First I thought to keep my phone switch off. But my conscience didnt allow me to do that as I know Mom frets if we dont talk in night. So I somehow managed and received her call. I cud figure out, that she cud figure out, something was wrong. But didnt want to tell her that I was going to pune intead of coming home on diwali. I usually keep my parents informed when I go for such excursions.

Next morning train reached pune,I called Tyson sir. His phone was swithched off. I had his address,so thought of strait away going there. I took a bus and was enroute when he called. With the help of a co-passenger I got down at a place where he came to pick me up.

That day was a saturday. In evening we went to the market. No crowd !!! I mean I've never seen such big city with empty roads. It was diwali so all students and professionals, who constitute the main crowd, were at their homes.

We went to a 'german bakery'. Its famous for having foreign crowd frequenting it. It was so,actually!!

And next day was a memorable day. Tyson sir, his friend Tooshar and me, to took to the country-side roadtrip. First we went to a temple about 80- kms from Pune and then went on to an old fort made my 'Shivaji' . I mean it was a really old fort as the roads were so bad that I think ,after shivaji those roads were never repaired again. The road as I said was treacherous and very diffcult to ride upon but the driver was me and further I dont need to brag about my capabilities.
En route we halted and various spots for photographs. Also we descended upon a green hill which looked like an early 90's movie location.

After reaching the top of the hill where that fort was, we came to know that we ought to trek to reach the fort. Cool man!! I never thought of trekking here. There were no roads, no passage. We had to find our way through bushes. There was one spot where we had to grab on a tree root and pull ourselves up a steep inclination. It was quite a workout and we were a bit tired after reaching the top. But the breath-taking view of landscape from top of this fort was flabbergasting. We took photographs and roamed around the area ,before we decided to make the descent. While coming back to stopped by a lake which striked us from the hill-top. As I dont know how to swim, I chose to standby meanwhile tooshar and tyson sir jumped into the lake. Would have been an awesome feeling, jumping into a lake just like that is a fun and a bit jittery thing to do. We then had some food at a restraunt and by the time we reached home it was pitch dark. It was an awesome day , had a nice time, can never forget that day.
